Order or pre-order for collection

Order a book for collection

We can order most books in and pre-order upcoming titles.

Ask in person, email us at newarkbookshop@outlook or you can use the above form. We might miss messages on social media so email is the best way to contact us.

Most orders will arrive at the shop within a week (subject to availability) with payment on collection. No delivery charge and collect when it suits you.

Book Clubs

We offer 10% off when placing orders as a group of 3 or more. You can order together, pay and collect separately.

Ordering for schools

We can supply schools and school libraries and welcome visits to the shop.

We can supply both Fiction and Non-Fiction, even if it isn't something we hold in stock. We are happy to help with orders of any size.

Delivery or collection can be arranged with most orders arriving within 48hrs (subject to availability). We will provide an invoice upon delivery, payable within 30 days.

Stocking your book

If you would like to make us aware of your book please contact us by email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

We have a small section highlighting the works of local writers. But we are only a small shop, limited on both space and the ability to buy new stock.

If we have room and feel the books are suited to the shop, given what genres we cover, we would usually take books on sale or return with 65% to the writer and 35% to the shop, with books returned to you if there have been no sales in the previous six months.

  • Please note that we do not wish to stock anything produced using AI, in any part, this includes AI images, as these programs are built on the stolen work of writers, artists and exploited labour. Please consider this before you enquire about stocking your book.
